Power Electronics PCB Design Expert (Remote, $11.5/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a Power Electronics PCB Design Expert to work remotely on a 4‑week contract. The role involves designing and delivering high‑quality power electronics circuits and printed circuit board layouts for DC‑DC, LDO, and AC‑DC applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design power electronics circuits and create detailed schematics.
• Develop PCB layouts, ensuring proper grounding, routing, and EMI mitigation.
• Work on DC‑DC, LDO, and AC‑DC converter designs.
• Select and validate components, reviewing datasheets and specifications.
• Perform design rule checks (DRC) and assess manufacturability.
• Prepare BOMs, Gerber files, and assembly documentation.
• Validate designs through internal reviews and checks.

Required profile

• Strong experience in power electronics and PCB design.
• Proficiency with KiCad, Altium, or similar PCB design tools.
• Solid understanding of power components, EMI, and manufacturability.
• Ability to read and interpret component datasheets.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
