Private Sector Program Coordinator

About the role

Oxfam Ghana is seeking a Private Sector Program Coordinator to lead and advise on private‑sector engagement, policy influencing and advocacy across its Just Economy programme. Based in Accra, the role will support the development of strategies that promote gender justice, women’s economic empowerment and accountable governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and policy advice to the Just Economy Program and Policy Manager.
• Conduct policy analysis, research and design private‑sector engagement strategies aligned with gender and economic justice objectives.
• Lead implementation of advocacy campaigns and influence efforts at national and regional levels.
• Facilitate strategic accompaniment for partners and collaborators to achieve programme goals.
• Develop and manage relationships with private‑sector actors, government agencies, civil‑society coalitions and media.
• Ensure delivery of programme results through a transformative partnership approach.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in development studies, international development, gender and development or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in international development, project management, advocacy and policy influencing.
• Demonstrated commitment to private‑sector development, gender justice and women’s economic empowerment.
