Production Coordinator – Cable Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Coordinator will oversee daily production activities across the cable manufacturing line, ensuring that operations run smoothly and meet customer delivery timelines. This role is pivotal for improving productivity and achieving the company’s operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities across processes such as wire drawing, stranding, insulation, armouring, sheathing and packaging.
• Ensure production follows approved plans and meets customer delivery schedules.
• Monitor output, identify delays, machine downtime or material shortages, and escalate issues promptly.
• Track performance against KPIs including output, waste, downtime, efficiency and quality.
• Maintain compliance with company quality standards and product specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience coordinating production schedules and shop‑floor activities.
• Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes and production operations.
