Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator will bridge operational gaps in our cable manufacturing plant, ensuring that daily production runs smoothly and meets customer delivery timelines. This role is pivotal to improving productivity and achieving the company’s operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities across processes such as wire drawing, stranding, insulation, armouring, sheathing and packaging.
• Ensure production follows approved plans and meets customer delivery schedules.
• Monitor output, flag delays, machine downtime or material shortages, and escalate as needed.
• Track performance against KPIs including output, waste, downtime, efficiency and quality.
• Guarantee compliance with company quality standards and product specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating production schedules and shop‑floor activities.
• Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes and overall production operations.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
