Production Plant Operator

About the role

The Production Plant Operator will monitor and control the ethanol production plant, ensuring continuous 24/7 operation. The role involves working in a shift system and supporting start‑up, shutdown and routine operations of the Rectification Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, control and regulate all process parameters to maintain steady production and product quality.
• Observe gauges, alarms and indicators to ensure equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, boilers and distillation columns operate correctly.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment and strictly follow safety and environmental rules.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as instructed and report any issues to the shift engineer.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with plant operation through DCS/PLC systems.
• Basic understanding of safety standards and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
