About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks highly qualified candidates for the rank of Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. Positions are open across several departments, including Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct and publish original research in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
• Participate in academic committees and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed publications.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly achievement and leadership in academia.
