Programmes Lead

About the role

The Programmes Lead will coordinate the planning, implementation and follow‑up of Nyimdzii’s educational programmes for junior youth and youth, ensuring quality and consistency across activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of educational programmes.
• Support facilitators, tutors, volunteers and programme staff.
• Strengthen relationships with schools, parents, community members and local institutions.
• Organise camps, study sessions, reading and tutoring spaces, and youth service activities.
• Contribute to reflection, documentation, learning and programme improvement systems.
• Ensure activities align with Nyimdzii’s purpose, values and community‑centred approach.
• Assist with reports, schedules, budgets, records and other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science‑related field, economics, business management, development studies or related area.
• At least five years of relevant experience in education, youth development, community development, programme coordination or similar.
• Experience working with children, junior youth, schools or community organisations.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong writing, documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to the education, character development and well‑being of young people.
• Comfort with a spiritually guided, service‑oriented organisation.
