Project Assistant – Programme Reporting & Knowledge Management

About the role

The Project Assistant will support the Programme Lead in documenting, organising and communicating programme activities across multiple projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning meetings, field work and implementation experiences into clear, professional reports that guide decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meeting minutes and develop daily, weekly and monthly programme reports.
• Produce field activity reports, implementation summaries and assist with proposal and technical document preparation.
• Maintain document version control and organise project files and repositories.
• Track decisions, action points, issues and risks; develop lessons‑learned registers.
• Support monitoring and evaluation reporting, activity trackers and programme performance reporting.
• Coordinate documentation, schedule meetings, follow up on actions and support stakeholder communication.
• Assist in preparing presentations and briefing materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Public Administration, Communications, English, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English with exceptional report‑writing abilities.
• Strong analytical, organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
