Project Coordinator – Construction

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Operations Manager Ghana in translating strategic direction into actionable regional priorities across the construction portfolio. This senior‑level role ensures safe, on‑time, and cost‑effective delivery of multiple projects throughout Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional project governance, reviewing safety, quality, schedule, cost, cash, resources, risks and decisions.
• Coordinate project mobilisation, approvals, site access, facilities, plant, materials, subcontractors and corporate support.
• Monitor and control programme baselines, critical paths, look‑ahead plans and recovery actions, escalating variances as needed.
• Oversee construction execution, site productivity, method implementation and coordination of design, access, material and labour constraints.
• Review budgets, cost‑to‑complete, margin outlook and cash requirements; drive billing, certification and variation management.
• Manage people and resource allocation, ensuring appropriate leadership coverage and labour productivity.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years (120 months) of experience in construction project coordination.
• Proven ability to translate strategic direction into regional priorities and performance expectations.
• Experience in overseeing safety, quality, schedule, cost and risk governance across multiple projects.
• Strong capability to remove cross‑functional obstacles and escalate material issues objectively.
• Demonstrated competence in project mobilisation, programme control, construction execution and commercial performance.
