Project Coordinator – Field Support Services (Ghana)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Field Support Services Project (FSSP) in Ghana, ensuring smooth delivery of technical, administrative, financial and logistical services for Canada’s international assistance program. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Coordinator will act as a central point of contact for stakeholders and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing, planning and prioritising all deliverables and client task requests.
• Engage with stakeholders, monitor concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Document and prepare quality reports and project deliverables.
• Coordinate and track task requests, ensuring quality implementation and timely reporting from Technical Specialists.
• Identify and source Technical Specialists when specialised expertise is required.
• Organise project reviews, capture lessons learned and share outcomes with the team and client.
• Manage logistical services such as vehicle rentals, travel arrangements and contracting for Technical Specialists, subcontractors and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• Ability to support the Project Manager in planning and prioritising project activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and issue‑resolution capabilities.
• Experience coordinating task requests and monitoring implementation quality.
• Competence in organising logistical arrangements for field operations.
