About the role
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat is offering a short‑term internship focused on protocol services and international relations. Interns will gain hands‑on experience supporting the Secretariat’s work, translating documents and interpreting meetings in a multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Translate working documents from English to French and vice‑versa in a timely manner.
- Provide interpretation support during meetings, audiences, and discussions.
- Assist corporate functions of the Secretariat, including research and drafting of briefings.
- Help promote AfCFTA initiatives to the public, especially youth audiences.
Required profile
- Final‑year university student enrolled full‑time.
- National of an African Union member state and resident in Ghana.
- Strong academic background in international relations, protocol, or related fields.
Required skills
- Proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).
