Radiation Oncology Consultant

About the role

The Radiation Oncology Consultant provides comprehensive clinical care to oncology patients, overseeing diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up within Fakeeh Care facilities. The role requires thorough patient assessments, evidence‑based care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges, including full patient assessments (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, functional).
• Develop and document evidence‑based care plans, ensuring timely implementation and daily progress notes using SOAP format.
• Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for in‑patients, creating discharge plans on admission and coordinating with discharge‑planning services.
• Respond promptly to medical consultations, document interventions, and complete discharge summaries with appropriate instructions.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching rounds, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Fakeeh Care’s person‑centered values.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols, and uphold the organization’s code of conduct.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Radiation Oncology.
• Current clinical privileges and experience managing inpatient oncology care.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Ability to organize workload, document accurately, and follow institutional standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
