Regional Head of Markets, SSA

About the role

The Regional Head of Markets, SSA will lead growth initiatives across Sub‑Saharan Africa, aligning resources, teams and strategies with direct and indirect channels, government bodies, academic institutions and key stakeholders. You will shape and execute the region’s growth priorities while fostering partnerships and driving revenue‑generating campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of regional growth strategies and priorities.
• Coordinate with channels, ATPs, government, academic partners, marketing, communications, and customer experience teams.
• Manage partnerships, agreements and deals with global executive council members and key accounts.
• Oversee regional summits, marketing campaigns and revenue‑generating initiatives.
• Ensure integration of market planning across diverse business units and channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus PMP certification, or an MBA.
• 7‑10 years of management experience in a global, multi‑market environment.
• Proven success building programmatic initiatives across geographically dispersed teams.
• Track record in B2B channel management, business‑plan development and partnership creation.
• Strong problem‑solving, business judgment and ability to influence senior executives.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience in agile, customer‑centric settings.
