Regional Procurement Executive

About the role

Pacific International Lines is seeking a dedicated Regional Procurement Executive to join its West Africa and South Africa Regional Office in Accra, Ghana. The role oversees landside procurement across the region, covering container depots, trucking vendors, repair yards and related services. You will ensure governance, vendor performance and compliance with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations for all West Africa and South Africa countries, aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Manage vendor master data, issue RFQs/RFPs, conduct competitive bidding, negotiate contracts and oversee the full procurement cycle.
• Support country teams with needs assessments, RFQ preparation and strategic sourcing decisions.
• Design and implement a transparent vendor evaluation framework that meets regulatory requirements.
• Document due‑diligence procedures and collaborate with local agencies on vendor selection criteria.
• Coordinate contract lifecycle management between end users, local vendors and Singapore HQ.
• Develop and maintain a supplier relationship management system to improve efficiency and performance.
• Backup equipment inventory monitoring and assist logistics planning based on stock assessments and demand forecasts.

Required profile

• Highly structured, proactive and ownership‑driven with the ability to establish new processes across multiple geographies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of challenging local agencies and driving change.
• Detail‑oriented and able to ensure compliance with performance frameworks.
