Regional Procurement Executive

About the role

Pacific International Lines is seeking a dedicated Regional Procurement Executive to lead landside procurement across West Africa and South Africa from its Accra office. You will oversee vendor management, ensure compliance with procurement governance, and drive efficient sourcing for container depots, trucking, and repair services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement operations across the region, aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Supervise vendor master data management and oversee the full procurement cycle, including RFQ/RFP issuance, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, purchasing, and post‑procurement activities.
• Support country teams in procurement needs assessments to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
• Design and implement a transparent vendor evaluation framework that ensures fairness and regulatory compliance.
• Document due‑diligence procedures and collaborate with local agencies to establish robust vendor selection criteria.
• Facilitate contract lifecycle management by coordinating between end users, local vendors, and Singapore HQ.
• Develop and maintain a supplier relationship management system to enhance operational efficiency and supplier performance.
• Serve as backup for equipment inventory monitoring and assist logistics planning based on stock assessments and demand forecasts.

• Strong ownership in establishing new processes across multiple geographies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of challenging local agencies and driving change.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain functions within logistics or shipping environments.
