About the role
The Sales Account Manager will drive direct and partner‑led sales growth in Ghana, managing key customer accounts and generating new business across enterprise and public‑sector markets. You will position Proxynet’s technology solutions in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, AV and unified communications.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in enterprise, government and commercial sectors.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise revenue and retention.
- Own monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and maintain a qualified pipeline.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and closure, including upselling and cross‑selling.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales engineers to design customer‑specific solutions.
- Work with distributors and channel partners on joint opportunities and go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, demos and prepare proposals, quotations and commercial documentation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide feedback on high‑growth verticals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
- 3–6+ years of B2B technology sales or account management experience.
- Proven track record in the Ghana or West Africa market (strong advantage).
- Strong network within enterprise or government sectors in Ghana.
- Hunter mindset with a commercially driven approach.
