Sales Attendant – Interior Design Showroom

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Attendant to join our interior‑design showroom in Accra. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping them explore our furniture, fabrics and accessories while providing friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their design preferences and requirements.
• Present product options, give detailed information and prepare price quotations.
• Process sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain tidy, visually appealing showroom displays.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and coordinate with the design team on project needs.
• Record sales and customer interactions accurately.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in furniture, home décor or interior‑design environments.
• Interest in interior design trends and an eye for colour and layout.
• Effective communication in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Accra, including weekends or extended hours when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further sales or design training is advantageous.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Basic computer skills for sales recording and inventory management.
