Sales Manager

About the role

SanlamAllianz Ghana is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing sales team in the Takoradi market. This full‑time, hybrid position combines office‑based sales operations, on‑site client meetings, and occasional remote work to drive growth of general insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Set sales targets, monitor performance and manage the sales pipeline.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate sales representatives to ensure a high‑performing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and business partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and contribute to local sales strategies.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and finance teams and prepare regular sales reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, business development or account management, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and manage pipelines effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; professional certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales reporting tools.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
