Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our retail shop in Accra. The role focuses on assisting customers, maintaining up‑to‑date product knowledge, and ensuring a clean, well‑stocked shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information.
• Stay informed about client requirements and shopping needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of both internal and external shop premises.
• Ensure shop equipment functions properly and report issues promptly.
• Replenish shelves regularly to keep the shop floor stocked.
• Comply with company policies on security, fund safekeeping, and record‑keeping.
• Report any issues or concerns as they arise.
• Conduct frequent inventories and monitor sales trends.
• Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain contact lists and follow up to nurture customer relationships.
• Resolve customer complaints and queries.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• SHS graduate or Diploma.
• Two to three years of experience in a similar sales position.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong negotiation, communication, time‑management, and planning skills.
