Sales Specialist

About the role

Eco‑Me Africa is seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive partnership development, sales performance and brand visibility across B2B, B2G, NGO and retail channels. The role combines strategic outreach, team leadership and fundraising support to accelerate growth and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure partnership opportunities with NGOs, corporates, government bodies, schools, healthcare facilities and development partners.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and represent Eco‑Me Africa at networking events.
• Coordinate and supervise the sales team, monitor performance against monthly and quarterly targets, and prepare sales reports, forecasts and analyses.
• Lead marketing campaigns, promotional activities and market research to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
• Support fundraising by identifying grant, sponsorship and partnership opportunities and assisting in proposal and concept note preparation.
• Prepare monthly growth, partnership, marketing and sales reports and contribute to annual planning and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Development Studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, sales coordination, account management or fundraising.
• Strong communication, presentation and proposal‑writing abilities.
• Experience in NGOs, social enterprises, manufacturing, healthcare or impact‑driven organisations is preferred.
• Proven experience managing sales teams or coordinating business development activities.
