Salesperson – Food Service (Tamale)

About the role

Sweet Aroma Foods is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson to join its team in Tamale. You will be the front‑line representative of the brand, promoting and selling high‑quality, nutritious food products to customers at our sales outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the sales outlet before service, take and process customer orders, and provide courteous service.
• Maintain product visibility and availability on display, arrange merchandising, and update promotional materials.
• Monitor stock levels at customer locations, follow up on deliveries, and support basic inventory management.
• Record sales activities, track targets, collect customer feedback, and report daily sales figures.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to plan routes, meet sales goals, and support marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong sales, persuasion and negotiation abilities with a focus on long‑term customer relationships.
• Effective communication, active listening and respectful interaction with diverse customers.
• Basic numeracy and record‑keeping skills for accurate order and payment tracking.
• Good knowledge of the local market in and around Tamale and ability to identify new sales opportunities.
• High reliability, punctuality, personal integrity and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Valid local authorization to work and travel as required.
• Minimum secondary school education; sales, marketing or business training is a plus.
