Security Supervisor (Accra)

About the role

The Security Supervisor will be based at the company’s Accra offices and will oversee day‑to‑day security operations across the site, including the nearby Tema facility. The role is hands‑on, requiring proactive measures to protect staff, visitors, and company assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees and visitors.
• Control and monitor access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage and inventory zones, keeping all keys confidential.
• Conduct or supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers and equipment to prevent unlawful removal of products or property.
• Assist in implementing security measures for all assigned facilities and lead emergency evacuations.
• Report all incidents—actual, suspected or attempted—to the Head of Security promptly.
• Seize prohibited items discovered during checks and, when necessary, detain perpetrators.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting facts, evidence and actions taken.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent.
• Formal security training qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable security supervisory role.
