Security Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana, is seeking a hands‑on Security Supervisor to be based at its Accra office and oversee day‑to‑day security operations across its facilities, including the site in Tema. The role ensures a safe environment for staff, visitors and valuable assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a secure working environment by monitoring access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage and inventory zones.
• Safeguard keys and confidential information, ensuring they are stored securely.
• Conduct and supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers and personnel to prevent unlawful removal of finished products, raw materials, tools or company property.
• Implement and review security measures for assigned facilities and lead emergency evacuations.
• Assist the Head of Security by promptly reporting all incidents, crimes (actual, suspected or attempted) and documenting evidence.
• Seize prohibited items detected during spot checks and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, with formal security training qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar security supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols for pharmaceutical or industrial environments.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage key control.
• Excellent observational and reporting skills.
