Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Tullow is seeking a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner to provide operational HR support and drive people strategies for its Accra office. The role will act as the HR lead for a defined business area, aligning talent initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice, guidance and support to business leaders, shaping and delivering the local people plan.
• Lead HR processes including budgeting, organisational reviews, salary and performance management.
• Coordinate reward activities such as annual salary reviews, performance bonuses and share options.
• Drive talent initiatives, including training needs analysis, development programmes and recruitment.
• Support new hires and internal transfers with relocation, immigration, benefits and induction.

Required profile

• Degree holder with a master’s degree; professional HR accreditation (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
• 5‑8 years of HR business partnering experience in a blue‑chip or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of performance management, people development and talent management.
• Experience in matrix organisations and change management.
