Senior Java Developer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while delivering high‑impact software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Document technical specifications and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required profile

• Proven expertise with Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Comfort with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
