Senior Lecturer Positions – Multiple Medical Disciplines

About the role

Central University is hiring senior lecturers to strengthen its medical science programmes. The appointments cover a range of specialities, including Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Medical Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, Medical Laboratory, Haematology, and Pathology/Laboratory Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and practical sessions in the assigned discipline.
• Develop and update curricula, course materials, and assessment tools.
• Supervise laboratory work, research projects, and student theses.
• Conduct independent research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and contribute to the university’s research agenda.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and community outreach activities.

Required profile

• Minimum PhD in the relevant discipline, or for clinicians, a recognised professional membership certificate.
• At least six publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Demonstrated experience in university‑level teaching and research.
• Strong academic record and commitment to student development.
