Senior Manager, Project Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Manager to lead the implementation of the ACTIVATE project in Tamale, Ghana. The role serves as the operational engine, ensuring that the project’s scaling, quality, and impact remain seamless as interventions expand.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimise scaling workflows across the project’s agricultural TVET programmes.
• Design and implement optimisation strategies and refine implementation tools.
• Act as the operational champion for high performance, quality assurance and risk management.
• Coordinate with public and private partners, academia and value‑chain actors to align activities.
• Oversee monitoring, reporting and budget tracking to meet project milestones.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver gender‑responsive and inclusive outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in managing development projects, preferably in education, TVET or agriculture.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive and inclusive approaches.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Tamale and travel within Ghana as needed.
