Senior Manager – Right Fit Evidence

About the role

IPA’s Right‑Fit Evidence (RFE) Unit is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the strategic delivery of a multi‑country project that scales effective education interventions. The role reports to the RFE Director, manages a small team of Advisors and works closely with funders, implementers and government partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, overseeing multiple project teams to deliver tailored evidence, learning and M&E solutions.
• Lead design, content and delivery of the large multi‑partner, multi‑country FCDO SCALE project, acting as the main project‑management function.
• Provide technical leadership for right‑fit MEL activities, coordinating research and evaluation across IPA country offices and external partners.
• Manage project finances, ensuring outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Contribute to new‑business development, proposal coordination and external relationship management.
• Support RFE strategy, thought‑leadership and the development of public‑goods products.
• Supervise 2–3 Advisors, fostering professional development and well‑being.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience managing multi‑country education or development projects.
• Proven ability to lead MEL design and implementation.
• Experience working with bilateral funders, government agencies and implementing partners.
