Senior Manager, Strategy & Systems Transformation

About the role

WUSC is seeking a proactive senior manager to lead strategy and systems transformation for the ACTIVATE project in Ghana. The role will serve as the primary visionary engine, ensuring that technical strategies are integrated across all project activities and that systemic change frameworks are institutionalised.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the cross‑cutting strategic agenda for the ACTIVATE agriculture TVET initiative.
• Architect and evaluate macro‑ecosystem interventions that align with gender‑responsive and inclusive development goals.
• Build and nurture strategic alliances with public, private, academic and value‑chain partners.
• Oversee the design, implementation and monitoring of systemic change frameworks.
• Provide thought leadership to senior stakeholders and guide the project’s technical direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in strategy development, systems transformation or related fields within international development.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑stakeholder initiatives in education, agriculture or youth‑focused programs.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive and inclusive approaches, especially for youth and displaced populations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English.
