Senior Python Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services that power critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Python‑based backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Optimize existing code for performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Python 3.x and web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design.
• Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third‑party services.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
