Senior Specialist, Enterprise Converged Services (Cloud) Product

About the role

MTN Ghana is looking for a Senior Specialist for its Enterprise Converged Services (Cloud) Product within the Enterprise Business division. The role covers the architecture, development and management of scalable, commercially viable ICT and converged cloud solutions for SME, corporate and public sector customers, from concept through to in-life management. It reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Converged Services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable cloud solutions, turning business requirements into end-to-end designs, assessing feasibility, supporting RFP/RFQ responses and aligning with MTN security and architecture standards.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept and business case through launch, commercialization, adoption and ongoing enhancement.
• Drive cloud innovation through strategic partnerships and sector-specific cloud solutions.
• Work with Sales, Client Success and Marketing to position cloud solutions, support customer engagements and drive adoption and revenue.
• Coordinate delivery of cloud solutions, manage cross-functional stakeholders, implementation activities, risks and continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification, with at least one active; CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation or equivalent are advantageous.
• Five years of experience in ICT/cloud solutions, enterprise technology or a related field, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of NCA regulatory requirements, data protection obligations and the Ghanaian B2B ICT market.

• IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, cybersecurity, IoT, UCC and managed services.
• Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, containerisation and microservices.
• REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, HTML5, relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• B2B sales cycles, solution selling, RFP/tender processes and contract structures.
