Services Specialist - Subsea Projects & Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is hiring a Services Specialist for its Subsea Projects & Services team. The role covers fulfilling orders for replacement and repair parts and equipment under a Services agreement or order, including transaction processing, process management, material management, site operations and warehouse logistics and shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. It includes both craft and non-craft labour and manager roles focused solely on these activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate fulfillment issues related to Customer Service Agreements, Time and Material, Component Repair and Accessory shops, working with the shop to resolve issues, representing customers in production meetings and keeping customers informed of status.
• Review business options for their impact on profit, compliance with contracts, policies and procedures, and ways to meet customer needs.
• Complete customer and internal paperwork.
• Coordinate shop and/or program reviews and customer visits at the site as needed.
• Contribute to the department's annual operational plan and suggest improvements to products, processes and procedures.
• Work with colleagues in the business unit, within predefined contracts and frameworks, with some flexibility to deviate.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science field from an accredited university.
• At least 4 years of experience in subsea equipment within the oil and gas industry.
• Technical working knowledge of subsea oil and gas equipment and products.
• Fluent English.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, with strong problem-solving, attention to detail, organization and time management skills.

Required skills

• Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle ERP and CAD packages.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
