Site Lead Aircraft Mechanic (Accra/Tema)

About the role

The Site Lead Aircraft Mechanic will oversee all aircraft, subsystem, and support equipment maintenance at the Accra and Tema locations. This pre‑award position requires U.S. citizenship and will act as the primary on‑site liaison with the Government.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance program for King Air/1900 aircraft, including complex modifications.
• Manage the Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP) system, ensuring supply of spares and support equipment.
• Coordinate launch, recovery, paint, engine overhaul, and repair activities at FAA‑certified stations.
• Direct a workforce of mechanics, inspectors, and support staff to meet safety and schedule requirements.
• Maintain documentation, inspections, and compliance with FAA and DoD regulations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years maintaining King Air/1900 series aircraft with complex modifications.
• One year as a site lead on a similar effort, or 90 days of supervised on‑site training.
• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret security clearance.
