Social Media Coordinator

About the role

Holidream is seeking a remote Social Media Coordinator to shape and amplify its online presence. You will craft engaging content that showcases African travel, cultural experiences, and authentic destinations, while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish social media posts and stories across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
• Maintain a consistent, culturally‑sensitive brand voice aligned with African travel themes.
• Monitor social channels, respond to community interactions, and foster engagement.
• Track performance metrics, generate insights, and refine campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to support initiatives, promote key destinations and events, and generate content ideas.
• Utilise analytics and scheduling tools to optimise posting schedules and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong ability to create compelling social media content and write for digital platforms.
• Experience in social media and digital marketing campaign planning and execution.
• Excellent, inclusive communication skills with cultural sensitivity.
• Proven experience managing brand accounts on major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) – a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with travel, hospitality, or African cultural experiences is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of analytics tools and content‑scheduling platforms.
• Background in Marketing, Communications, Media, or equivalent practical experience.
