Steel Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive growth for our steel, roofing, cement and other construction material lines. You will build and maintain customer relationships, monitor market trends and ensure timely collection of payments while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers to achieve sales goals.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries and outstanding payments to guarantee timely collections.
• Conduct regular customer visits to uncover new business opportunities and strengthen ties.
• Collect and analyse competitor pricing and market information to support sales strategies.
• Promote the company’s steel, roofing, cement and related construction products.
• Prepare sales, customer feedback and market intelligence reports for management.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service.
• Perform additional sales and business development tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of proven sales experience.
• Experience in the steel, roofing, cement, construction materials or a related industry.
• Familiarity with the Central Market and surrounding business environment is an advantage.
