Stock Management Officer

About the role

GBfoods is looking for a Stock Management Officer to ensure efficient and accurate handling of stock levels, inventory records, and stock movements. The role supports uninterrupted production and supply‑chain operations across its European and African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with production to transfer stock from the floor to the warehouse.
• Check, process and store incoming stock both physically and in the system.
• Manage put‑away and retrieval of SKUs using a FEFO strategy and batch‑code traceability.
• Liaise with Quality to retrieve and sort products for customer demand.
• Prioritise customer orders in line with service requests.
• Conduct weekly stock reconciliations to achieve zero discrepancy before monthly counts.
• Update inventory databases, spreadsheets or systems with all transactions.
• Oversee stock rotation, shelf‑life tracking and expiry monitoring.
• Maintain 100% compliance with SAP WMS process flows.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in inventory or warehouse management.
• Relevant professional certification is a plus.
