Storekeeper

About the role

Yenique Prix Enterprise (YPE) is hiring a full-time, on-site Storekeeper in Accra to manage stock and supplies for its retail and logistics operations. The role works closely with procurement, sales and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly and to deliver reliable service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and organize items in designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with stock replenishment and packing of orders for distribution.
• Keep storage areas clean, safe and well organized, and follow procedures for handling equipment and materials.
• Support internal teams with timely access to the stock they need.

Required profile

• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing or retail operations is preferred; familiarity with logistics or e-commerce is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move items safely and follow health and safety guidelines in a warehouse or store environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong inventory control and inventory management skills, including tracking stock levels and keeping accurate records.
• Practical experience packing and organizing goods for storage, dispatch and retail presentation.
• Knowledge of forklift operation or other material-handling equipment, with adherence to safety protocols (certification is an advantage).
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for using inventory software or spreadsheets.
