Telesales Representative – Ghana

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing e‑commerce and logistics business operating across Africa, is seeking experienced Telesales Representatives for its Madina office in Accra. The role focuses on generating sales through inbound and outbound calls, meeting conversion and revenue targets, and converting leads into confirmed orders.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume inbound and outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs, recommend suitable products, and close sales.
• Follow up leads, achieve assigned revenue and conversion targets, and pursue upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Record all interactions and sales activity accurately in the company’s CRM.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and adhere to sales scripts and procedures.

Required profile

• 6–12 months of proven telesales experience with responsibility for closing sales.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting measurable sales, revenue or conversion targets.
• Strong telephone sales, questioning, active‑listening and objection‑handling skills.
• Excellent verbal communication in English; knowledge of Ghanaian languages is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using a CRM or customer‑management system.
