Territory Sales Assistant – Commercial Banking

About the role

The Territory Sales Assistant will support the expansion of agency banking services across multiple regions in Ghana. You will act as the primary liaison between the bank and its network of retail and mobile‑money agents, ensuring smooth onboarding, training, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, vet and onboard new agency banking partners such as retail shops and mobile‑money vendors.
• Serve as the first point of contact for agents, handling inquiries, operational issues and technical challenges.
• Deliver comprehensive training on product knowledge, transaction processes, system functionalities, fraud prevention, compliance and customer service.
• Participate in local marketing and activation initiatives to promote agency banking services.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly agent performance against targets and report findings.
• Conduct regular meetings with the Territory Head and provide market research insights.
• Implement growth initiatives and support sales strategy development.

Required profile

• HND or bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or marketing; banking experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
