About the role

The Training Manager will design and deliver targeted training programs focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer advisory skills. Partnering with sales leadership, the role aims to boost team performance, improve conversion rates, and drive premium growth. Impact is measured through KPIs, with continuous refinement of learning strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Sales Academy operation, set strategic direction, manage budgets, and ensure seamless program delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Partner with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and design engaging curricula covering product knowledge, sales strategies, communication, and compliance.
• Utilise diverse instructional methods such as instructor‑led sessions, online learning, blended approaches, gamification, and simulations.
• Facilitate dynamic training sessions that maximise knowledge retention.
• Implement robust evaluation methods, analyse data, gather feedback, and continuously improve programs.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across sales, HR, product development, and compliance.
• Collaborate with external providers and champion a culture of learning within the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering sales‑focused training programmes.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable learning solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing training teams.
