Twi Teacher & Reintegration Specialist

About the role
The African Diaspora Resource Centre is looking for a passionate Twi Teacher & Reintegration Specialist to help newcomers adjust to life in Ghana. This hybrid position blends language instruction with cultural orientation, relocation assistance, and community engagement for diaspora returnees and expats.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured Twi lessons for English‑speaking learners, creating interactive materials and using multimedia tools.
- Lead cultural orientation sessions covering Ghanaian customs, values, daily practices, and social etiquette.
- Provide consultations on housing, utilities, banking, healthcare, and transportation, offering tailored recommendations and referrals.
- Collaborate with ADRC staff to connect clients with resources, partners, and community support systems.
- Participate in planning and hosting diaspora events, cultural nights, and networking programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, consultations, and client needs.
Required profile
- Fluency in Twi and strong command of English (oral and written).
