Van Sales Executive

About the role

The Van Sales Executive will represent Sprout’s washing liquid and multipurpose surface cleaner on a daily basis, visiting retailers, wholesalers, markets, restaurants, schools and offices across a designated route in Accra. This field‑based position is ideal for an energetic, target‑driven individual who enjoys building relationships and driving product visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Sell Sprout washing liquid and surface cleaner directly from the company van to shops, provision stores, chop bars, schools, offices and households.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly volume and revenue targets.
• Develop new accounts and expand distribution within the assigned territory.
• Upsell combo deals and promote new product packs and sizes.
• Maintain product availability, proper shelf display, POSM placement and competitive pricing.
• Collect market feedback, monitor competitor activity and report pricing and promotions.
• Load the van each day with correct stock, manage inventory using FIFO, and keep the van clean.
• Collect cash and mobile‑money payments, issue receipts and reconcile sales, stock and cash at day‑end.
• Complete daily call reports, sales reports and route coverage sheets.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Sales/Marketing.
• 1‑4 years experience in FMCG van sales, household products or direct sales.
• Physically fit for loading/unloading cartons.
• Valid driver’s licence (Category C) and knowledge of Accra markets and routes is an advantage.
