Video Editor Intern

About the role

Virtual IP, a US‑based IT consulting firm, is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Video Editor Intern based in Ghana. The intern will support the creation of engaging video content for the company’s social media and marketing channels, gaining practical experience and building a professional portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form and long‑form video content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Add transitions, subtitles, captions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects.
• Resize and optimize videos for different social media specifications.
• Assist in producing promotional videos, reels, company videos, and educational content.
• Maintain brand consistency and organize raw footage and final projects.
• Incorporate feedback from marketing and management teams and support other basic creative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently completed a program in Media, Film, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate video‑editing experience with a portfolio or sample work preferred.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow brand guidelines.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• DaVinci Resolve
• After Effects (or similar motion‑graphics tools)
