About the role

ACTIV is seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to create engaging short‑form video assets for ecommerce brands on Meta and TikTok. This full‑time remote role focuses on post‑production work that drives audience engagement and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, optimizing hooks, hold time and click‑through rates for Meta & TikTok.
• Collaborate with creative strategists, directors and other editors via Slack and weekly video calls.
• Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines and brand guidelines are met.
• Maintain quality standards and stay updated on emerging video trends and AI tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of video editing experience in ecommerce marketing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short‑form direct‑response video work.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently across time zones.
• Self‑starter with a desire to continuously learn and push creative boundaries.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects.
• Experience using AI tools such as Higgsfield, Claude and ChatGPT to enhance editing workflows.
• Understanding of key performance metrics like hook rate, hold rate and click‑through rate.
