Voice AI Research Participant (Remote, Africa)

About the role

We are looking for individuals in East and West Africa to help evaluate a voice AI assistant. Participants will make a few short phone calls and provide feedback to improve the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Make five phone calls to a voice assistant over about one week.
• Ask real‑life questions related to health, work, learning, or practical topics.
• Complete a brief survey after each call to share feedback.
• Ensure each call lasts 5–15 minutes and ends naturally.

Required profile

• 18 years or older and residing in Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, or Nigeria.
• Comfortable speaking English.
• Willing to consent to call recording for evaluation.
• Preferably using a feature phone or a smartphone with limited or no data plan.
• No prior experience with AI assistants required.

Required skills

What we offer

• Compensation of $10–$20 per hour based on actual time spent.
• All call costs covered – participants pay nothing.
