Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role involves coordinating with procurement, production, sales and logistics teams to guarantee timely movement of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise daily warehouse operations.
• Manage receiving, storage and dispatch processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Supervise, train and evaluate warehouse staff.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to protect inventory from damage or loss.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support timely goods movement.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Document all warehouse transactions and prepare periodic reports.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages and customer complaints.
• Maintain security of facilities and inventory against theft or unauthorised access.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, FMCG or distribution is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
