Warehouse Manager

About the role

Kasapreko PLC is looking for a Warehouse Manager to run its warehouses and redistribution centres efficiently in the middle and upper parts of Ghana. The manager ensures the day-to-day operation of the warehouses and works closely with distributors and transporters.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the company's policies and vision and liaise with distributors and transporters.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound, outbound and other warehousing and inventory activities.
• Motivate and organise the workforce so productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• Ensure efficient use of space and handling equipment while meeting quality, budget and environmental objectives.
• Coordinate automated and computerised warehouse systems such as RFID scanners where used.
• Handle customer communication by email, telephone and in person, and visit customers to check service quality.
• Keep stock control systems up to date and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Plan future capacity needs and support recruitment, training, coaching and formal staff appraisals.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly analytical reports and statistics.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and security standards, including safe storage of goods, and manage third-party contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Economics, Mathematics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Accounting.
• 10 years' relevant experience in warehousing.
• At least 5 years' experience in FMCG operations as a manager or supervisor.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.

Required skills

• Communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and ERP software, preferably SAP.
