WASH Knowledge Management Intern (National)

About the role

The WASH section at UNICEF Ghana is looking for a National Intern to support knowledge and information management across its water, sanitation and hygiene programmes. You will help organise, document and share key learning to improve programme quality and promote innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the WASH SharePoint site, ensuring it functions as a reference library for the team.
• Organise, classify and regularly refresh programme documentation, applying clear labels and tags.
• Develop and refine folder structures, SOPs and user guides for document management.
• Create an internal inventory of WASH knowledge resources and monitor gaps.
• Coordinate migration, archiving or removal of outdated or duplicate files.
• Assist in packaging and disseminating knowledge products such as reports, case studies and guidance notes.
• Support reporting and communication activities to enhance evidence‑based programming.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university programme related to information management, public health, international development or a similar field.
• Strong interest in WASH and humanitarian work.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Good written communication skills in English.
