Network Engineer – Cisco Backbone & LAN/WAN

About the role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s network infrastructure. This role involves both backbone and last‑mile network support, primarily using Cisco technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resolution to technical and administration issues for customer‑subscribed services via the ticketing system.
• Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of systems, programs, hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot the backbone network and last‑mile canopy network.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, network appliances and server clusters.
• Maintain documentation of network changes and monitor system performance, applying performance tuning as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, plus certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, MCSE or MCT.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience in networking, including managing multiple systems and IT disciplines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting and LAN/WAN management.
• Experience with installation and configuration of Cisco routers, firewalls, antivirus and sniffing applications.
