About the role

The Relationship Officer – Personal Finance will act as the primary point of contact for clients, promoting Old Mutual’s range of personal finance products. This performance‑driven position combines direct sales with back‑office support, offering a competitive commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Sell personal finance products and services to allocated customers while adhering to company protocols.
• Provide back‑office assistance to the sales team as needed.
• Plan and manage a personal monthly schedule to achieve sales targets and prioritize high‑impact activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of organisational policies, regulatory codes and conduct, seeking supervisor approval for any procedural exceptions.
• Identify and qualify new prospects through referrals, recommendations and market research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Action‑oriented with a strong drive for results.
• Effective communicator who can ensure accountability and align plans.
